The concept of the makeup boutique is a long awaited response to the real needs of the countless celebrities and women of all works of life Khuraira counseled and made over nationally and internationally during her earlier days at Laura Mercier and Trish McEvoy. Whether in New York, Chicago, Montreal, or London… women were fed up with the lack of service and privacy at department stores makeup counters. They were tired of rush makeovers in the hands of pushy sales girls and longed for a private place with personalized service and real makeup expertise.

Khuraira boutique provides all that and much more. It is a fun and very friendly getaway from the stress of daily life. The music, the scent, the décor, the details, everything is so carefully chosen to create an ambiance and a harmony that very few boutiques even the best on Fifth Avenue in New York City can rival with. While those boutiques emphasize their superior service, Khuraira boutique goes a few steps further: "Above customer service", she says, "I would like my boutique to be all about customer sensitivity." A pledge and mission statement posted on one of the walls explains what she means.
A friendly and caring team spoils women with the art of airbrush makeup as well as a wide range of other services not featured at high end department stores makeup counters, such as makeup wardrobing: a concept whereby women can bring in any brand of makeup of their own, purchased anywhere, and be taught the proper way to use it by Khuraira and her team.
